A creative outlet turned full time

Kim of K-Rae Designs commissioned me to visit her Brisbane home studio to capture new portraits and content for her Instagram and website.

Kim is a proud Bundjalung and South Sea Islander woman residing on Yuggera Country in Brisbane, Australia. Her work is big and bold, featuring lots of vibrant block colours and a strong illustration style. We wanted to capture Kim’s energy as a one-woman business and artist, embodying both her fun side and thoughtful side when in her creative zone.
